Future Proof Kilkenny is a local action group dedicated to raising awareness of Climate Change and peak oil and how these crises can be used as opportunities to make a transition to a more sustainable future.
FPK aims to work with and for the Kilkenny local communities in helping to implement changes necessary to cope with powering down our energy consumption.
We like to talk
This change can be brought about by everyone. But first we need to recognise the problem, learn more about it and share ideas as to how to prepare our community to adapt to the future.

What can 'I' do?
First of all, read and learn what you can in regard to climate change and powering down. Tell your friends, family and colleagues. Its easier nowadays as there is so much in the media. But the media can only do so much. Consider what you can do in your locality. Also contact us and be a part of the programme of awareness raising events (check back here regualry)
